Tech Mtg Spring 09

This is our second Tech Session hosted by member Kent Browning. Kent was gracious enough to open his facility to our Chapter and his hospitality is overwhelming. For more information on Kent's facility and car collection click on button Tech Mtg Spring 08 above.

Chip Werstein, the SoCalSACC Tech Session Coordinator, set the subject matter to be C-1 tires. Chip picked the topics of the 3 talks to be 1) tire construction in general with guest speaker Bill Bower, 2) '53 - '55 wheels with Phil Roche as speaker and 3) '57 - '62 wheels with Chip Werstein as speaker. Each topic is available using the above buttons.

The Tech Session C-1 attendance exceeded any previous session with 52 C-1's and 92 attendance. As is visible in the first picture below, our C-1 lot is to capacity. The clear area is for access to the caterer and our sit-down lunch.

New members Mike & Sandy Cromer showed up in their 1955 "Golden"Corvette. Mike & Sandy own several '53 to '55 Corvettes and this one was very nice.

The Nagel family arrives in style. The '58 Pro Street car was a "bring the people out" arrival with their pink Corvette. Driver Hoss Nagel and Mark Nagel arrive with their father Leonard in his big brake and gas tank '62. They are now members of our Chapter.
